Misd is coming to Chicago

The L, Millennium Park, Wicker Park — Chicago is made for missed connections.

Chicago has a particular quality to it — a density that puts people genuinely close to each other without the anonymizing crush of New York. The Red Line at rush hour. The lakefront path on a warm Sunday. A table next to yours at a Logan Square restaurant where the conversation next door is impossible to ignore. The city is one long series of almost-moments.

Misd shows your post to people who were actually in that location at that time — so if you were on the L platform at Belmont at 8pm on a Tuesday, the people who were there will see it. No accounts, no profiles, no names. A connection only opens if both people say yes. We're building toward Chicago — join the waitlist to be notified when we launch.

Where Chicago moments happen

The L (CTA Red Line)
The backbone of the city and a daily ritual for hundreds of thousands. Platforms, cars, and the silence between stops.
Millennium Park
The Bean draws crowds from every corner of the city and beyond. Shared spectacle, strangers in the same frame.
Wicker Park
The intersection, the coffee shops, the vintage stores — Wicker Park is dense with the kind of people who notice things.
Lincoln Park
The running path, the farmers market, the cafe tables — Lincoln Park is Chicago at its most sociable.
Logan Square
The boulevard, the restaurant strip, the bar scene — Logan Square has the right energy for accidental connections.
Riverwalk
One of the most beautiful stretches in any city. People slow down here, which means they actually see each other.

Chicago is coming.

Misd isn't live in Chicago yet — but Atlanta is. See what it feels like before it hits your city. When Chicago launches, you'll know the moment you open the app.
