Frequently Asked Questions
Posts expire automatically in 24, 48, or 72 hours — whichever window you chose when you posted. You can also delete a post early by going to your profile tab → My Posts → swipe to delete. The post is removed immediately and won't be visible to anyone.
Posts are shown to people who were in the same location during a recent time window. If the person left before your post was created, or hasn't opened the app since then, they may not have seen it. There's no way to send a post directly to someone — that's by design.
When you signal "might be me" on a post, the poster won't know unless they also signal back. If both of you signal independently, a private chat opens. Neither person knows the other signaled until it's mutual. If only one person signals, nothing happens — no notification, no awkwardness.
No. Misd doesn't ask for your name, email, or any personal information. Location is used only to match your post to nearby users — it is not stored or shared beyond the matching process. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Tap the three-dot menu on any post and select "Report." You'll be asked to choose a reason — harassment, explicit content, spam, or other. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours. Reported posts may be removed pending review.
Tap the feedback icon in the app (bottom nav → profile → Feedback), or email us directly at support@misd.me. We genuinely read all of it. Bug reports with steps to reproduce are especially helpful.

Because Misd doesn't collect personal data, there is no account to delete. Your device token and any posts you've made can be cleared by uninstalling the app. Posts expire automatically within your chosen window. If you believe we hold any data about you, email privacy@misd.me and we'll look into it within 5 business days.
Community Guidelines
Be honest. Posts should describe real public encounters — something that actually happened, somewhere you actually were.
Be kind. No harassment, threats, or content designed to intimidate or demean another person.
No explicit content. Keep it appropriate for a public space.
No spam or self-promotion. Misd is for real moments, not ads, referrals, or promotional content of any kind.
