What's new

The honest changelog.

April 2026
v1.0 — Initial launch
Atlanta, Georgia. We're live.
Misd is live. Post anonymous missed connections. Location-targeted — posts reach people who were actually nearby.
Mutual interest mechanic: signal "might be me" and a private temp chat opens only if both parties do it independently.
Post types: missed connection, sighting, funny moment, wholesome, awkward, unbelievable.
Posts expire after 24, 48, or 72 hours — your choice when you post.
Venue partner program: businesses can claim their venue and appear on the venue map.
Anonymous by design: no account, no name, no photo required.
Available on iOS and Android. Free.
Roadmap preview
Coming next
What we're working on. Not a promise — just where we're headed.
Match notifications — get notified when someone signals interest on your post, without revealing who or when.
Saved moments — optionally bookmark a post before it expires. Private and local-only — nothing leaves your device.
More cities — NYC, Chicago, LA, and Austin are in the pipeline. We're going deep, not wide.
Web companion — read nearby posts from a browser without installing the app. No posting, just reading.
Group hotspots — see where in your city posts are clustering as a heatmap. No individual tracking, just aggregate density.
This is a rough picture of what's coming, not a product commitment. Things move, priorities shift, and we ship when things are actually ready — not when we said we would.
